Jagan Mohan Reddy's First Comment About Capital Amaravati ChangeFor the first time after getting elected as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy responded for the first time on the rumors of changing the Capital from Amaravati. Jagan raked the issue of a scam in Amaravati Land Pooling in his first Press Meet in AP Bhavan the other day.

He was asked the direct question in an interview of India Today. “I would not say I would shift the capital or not. That is for the time to decide. It is a big scam and a case of Insider Trading. All these are to be investigated,” Jagan announced hinting about the possibility of Capital Change.

Ever since the Polling is completed in Andhra Pradesh, there are rumors that Jagan would come to Power and change the Capital from Amaravati to Donakonda. Land Transactions are picking up in Donakonda while the land transactions in Amaravati came to a standstill.

Prior to the 2014 elections, there are rumors that Donakonda will be the capital and there are reports that several YSR Congress leaders bought massive tracts of land in the area only to get disappointed later when Chandrababu came to Power.
