Jagan-Makes-A-Mistake-in-Dragging-Chandrababu-Naidu-into-Kodi-Kathi-CaseOpposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy moved the Hyderabad high court seeking a thorough probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the knife attack on him by a restaurant worker at the airport in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam the last week. Interestingly, Jagan has named CM Chandrababu Naidu as the respondent in his writ petition.

Jagan alleged said it was a clear case of an attempt on his life. He alleged that the state government was deliberately trying to play down the incident and dilute the investigation. But then, the case has taken a political colour given the fact that Jagan is trying to bring the Chief Minister himself into the case.

Jagan also mentioned in his Petition about Shivaji who foretold the attack as Operation Garuda. It has to be seen how the High Court responds to this. But trying to implicate the CM, in this case, may dilute it as it is seen as an attempt to score political points more than anything else.

The YSRC president, who has been on a marathon padayatra for nearly a year is currently resting after the attack and will resume the Padayatra from November 2nd in Vizianagaram. As of now, all the available evidence indicate that the Attacker is a big supporter of Jagan himself and he staged the attack to gain sympathy for his favourite leader ahead of the 2019 elections.
