YS Jagan Meet Visakhapatnam Steel Plant UnioinsAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in Vishakapatnam to attend a Religious event at Saradapeetam. The visit has come at a time when the port city is on a boil against the privatization of the Steel Plant.

However, a report by Andhrajyothy says that Jagan did not look serious about the issue. The Chief Minister met some selected leaders of the Labour unions and did not give them time to listen to their version. The Chief Minister reportedly just received a letter from them and proceeded to Sharadapeetam.

The channel report also said that several union leaders were taken into preventive custody suspecting that they may organize protests during the Chief Minister’s tour. This is Jagan’s first tour after protests started against the privatization of the steel plant.

There is a criticism on the Chief Minister prioritizing a Religious event over an important issue concerning Lakhs of employees and the people of the state.
