Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy threatened to move No confidence motion on Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao. Jagan alleging that Speaker is being partial towards the ruling party and is not giving them enough time to speak in the Assembly. Jagan went on to say the Speaker should be patient enough to hear opposition voice lest they will be left with no options other than moving no confidence motion on the Speaker.

On the other side, Speaker rubbished Opposition’s allegations of showing partiality. He clarified that the opposition agreed for the allotted time first and later is demanding for more time which is not possible given the time schedule of the session. On the other side, Political experts say moving a no confidence motion will be a premature move on the part of Jagan as he do not have enough numbers in the Assembly to get a favourable mandate.
