American President, Donald Trump will be in a Two Days Tour to India on February 24th and 25th. He will be touring Ahmedabad, Agra, and Delhi in this tour wherein he will be accompanied by Melania Trump, Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner. Ivanka and Kushner are advisers to the US President.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be hosting a Lunch for the POTUS on 25th at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan. Chief Ministers of various states are being invited for this Lunch. The Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha, Bihar, and Haryana were invited. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao was not invited.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was not invited at least until now. It is surprising that KCR who is at loggerheads with the Center has got the invitation, while Jagan who is staying close to the BJP Leadership was ignored. YSR Congress Rank and File are naturally disappointed.
Earlier, Ivanka Trump had come to Hyderabad in November 2017 to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Modi’s invitation.
