Megastar Chiranjeevi was the first from the industry to extend support and reach out to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He even supported the controversial Three capitals idea defying his own brother, Pawan Kalyan’s stand on that issue.
He did not even move an inch when YSR Congress leaders are attacking and abusing Pawan Kalyan. But then, it looks like Jagan Mohan Reddy is not reciprocating the respect. The Megastar is being denied an appointment for a very long time. He finally had to tweet a request to the Chief Minister.
This is an insult to Chiranjeevi who know had dropped the hopes of becoming Industry’s Pedda Dikku. Welcoming the online ticketing, Chiranjeevi has requested reasonable ticket prices. “Just how GST is a tax collected uniformly across the country, ticket prices should be on similar lines. Please rethink this issue. The industry can only survive if the Government supports,” Chiranjeevi said.
But then, going by the hints being dropped by the Government, those in power seem to be in no mood of entertaining any requests. The film industry has become a punching bag to the Government to settle its political scores. Probably, the industry may be forced to fight a legal battle against the Government. However, the industry biggies are trying to avoid that as much as possible.
