Jagan Has No Achievements To Showcase-Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took oath on May 30th and so, he is going to complete one year in the CM seat later this week. The Ruling Party is claiming that it has completed more than 90% of its promises made in its manifesto in this one year itself.

And now, there are reports that the Ruling Party is in talks with two TDP Leaders to defect from the party. Anagani Satya Prasad and Eluri Samba Sivarao are in touch with Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and are likely to desert the Cycle Party and pledge their support to YSR Congress.

The TDP has 23 MLAs in the assembly, of the three MLAs, have pledged their support to the YSR Congress party – Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan of Gannavaram, Maddali Giridhar of Guntur (West) and Karanam Balaram of Chirala assembly constituencies. If three more MLAs also shift their loyalties from the TDP, the strength of the TDP in the assembly will come down to 17. If the news of another MLA, Gottipati Ravi leaving the party, Naidu will be stripped off the Opposition Leader Status.

In such a case, Naidu will be losing the leader of the opposition status. “If the Government has really fulfilled 90% of their promises, it does not need defections to showcase as its achievement on the eve of one year. Jagan could not even stand on his word of asking MLAs to resign and is hiding in the garb of the defected MLAs staying independent in the house,” TDP leaders criticize. It is sad that Politics have taken center stage when a Pandemic is threatening the existence of the people.
