Jagan Government To Face Contempt of CourtReports are emerging that Former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is filing a Contempt of Court case on Andhra Pradesh Government and the State Chief Secretary for not reinstating him as the post of the SEC. High Court gave a verdict in favor of Nimmagadda.

Without implementing the Orders, the Government approached the Supreme Court but the Apex Court on two occasions refused the issue a stay on the High Court Judgement. Even though the Apex court is listening to the case, the High Court orders are to be implemented.

The State Government may have to implement the Order by tomorrow which is when the Petition will be filed or will have to face the Contempt of the Court. This is not the first time the State Government is facing such an issue.

Jagan Government is insecure about facing the election under Ramesh Kumar since he is an appointee during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure and also belongs to the same community as Chandrababu.
