South Coastal Railway Zone (or Vishaka Railway Zone) was announced before 2019 election and has remained only as an election gimmick.
So far in the three budgets after the announcements, Union Government did not allocate single rupee for creation of the zone. Now all of sudden, BJP starter blaming YSR Congress Government for it.
BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao, the other day, told the media that the zone works could not be commenced since the state government is not giving back the land previously it has taken from the Railways.
It is the case of all pending Railway projects in the state, GVL said. The situation is quite embarrassing for the Ruling Party in Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Congress always tries to be in the good books of Delhi and so they can not condemn this allegation in a harsh tone. And that means they will have to carry the blame if this is made a propaganda.
That’s exactly what BJP wants YSR Congress to do. Maybe BJP can be right as well on this issue but we can not ascertain the facts.
Whatever it may be, a crucial issue like Railway Zone has got trampled between the two political parties
