YS Jagan Andhra Pradesh Finance DebtsAfter wearing Three Capitals up its sleeve in the name of Decentralization, YSR Congress is moving towards only one capital i.e., Vishakapatnam. The Government in the Supreme Court has agreed that creating Judicial Capital in Kurnool is in the purview of the Apex Court and it can not dictate terms on it.

Now, the Government is thinking on the lines to move the Legislative Capital from Amaravati. “We thought of giving 55 Lakh House Sites to the poor in Amaravati but some people along with the TDP leaders stopped it. It is not a good place to make laws where there is no place for the poor,” Minister Kodali Nani is saying.

He released a statement about making a similar suggestion to the Chief Minister about the same and added that the Chief Minister said ‘We Shall Taking A Decision after Consultations With Everyone”. It is interesting to see how such a proposal was tactically being made by the Minister of the Same Region.

It is now up to the courts to protect the interests of the 29,481 farmers who have given 34,322 acres of land in the Land Pooling Policy of Chandrababu Naidu for the construction of Amaravati. Among these farmers, 5,227 farmers have given One to Two acres of land while another 3,337 farmers have given Two to Five acres of land. So, it will be the small and medium scale farmers that will be the most affected due to the Government’s decision.
