Jagan Gives CBI Court A Miss in The Last Minute Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was supposed to attend the Nampally CBI Court today for the proceedings over his ED related cases. After all the arrangements have been made, the trip got canceled at the last minute. Jagan did not go there after he got information that the concerned judge is on leave.

The heavy police deployment which was in place withdrew at the last minute. Another judge in-charge of the special court is likely to give fresh dates of hearing for the cases listed on Friday. Jagan first appeared in the Nampally court for the first time in his capacity as Chief Minister on this January 9th.

On the other side, Jagan already filed a petition in Telangana High Court seeking exemption from appearing before the special court in CBI cases. The petitions were supposed to be heard on Thursday but were adjourned for a week by the judge as the CBI counsel sought time to file counter affidavit.

Jagan already filed a petition seeking exemption from appearing before the special court in ED cases but later withdrew the petition due to some technical issues. Since the petition is not pending before the High Court, Jagan thought of attending the court.
