YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seem to be taking a cue from his former Congress Boss, Sonia Gandhi while dealing with media. Jagan was not at all approachable to Telugu media before the elections and used to only address to National media or his own Sakshi media.
But after the tragic defeat in the last elections, he changed route and started approaching Telugu media as well. Jagan very rarely does media press meets and mostly interact with media via his open letters. This is a style very similar to that of Sonia Gandhi.
YSR Congress party leaders themselves admit that this ploy is to avoid questions from media. Especially as Telugu media houses are divided on party lines, Jagan only want media as dummies who takes notes from his Open letters or Press releases.
