Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has answered the criticism about not visiting the flood-affected areas. The Chief Minister told the house that he did not go since all the official machinery will be around him and that would disrupt the relief measures.
He also said that all the in-charge ministers, ministers, and public representatives are already there supervising the relief works and the criticism is non-sense. But then, Netizens are not so kind to Jagan. They have been posting videos of Jagan while he is in Opposition.
In the videos, he is seen asking the people of a cyclone-affected area if Chandrababu Naidu got into the damaged paddy fields. Some people are ready to buy the explanation but question why he is so insensitive to attend wedding ceremonies and pose for selfies with a beaming face when people are struggling due to floods.
Even though the netizens are not convinced, YSR Congress MLAs appreciated the Chief Minister’s explanation by banging hands on the benches in the Assembly.
