Jagan_Three_Capitals_andhra_pradesh_Nityananda_RaiThe chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan has been hellbent on the 3 capitals development despite all the negativity and backlash he has been facing for the same.

Now, the central government has dealt a shocker of sorts to the AP government by stating that the Jagan government never consulted them about the 3 capitals proposition.

“In 2015, the government notified that Amaravati is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The Center then formed a committee under AP bifurcation sections 5 and 6 to determine the merits and demerits of the new capital. The government then proposed 3 capitals bill, but never consulted the Center about the same,” stated the central home department deputy minister Nityananda Rai.

The Center added that the matter has been taken up to the courts and speaking against it nothing but the contempt of the court.

However, the YCP ministers and spokesmen have been freely speaking against Amaravati all the while and destroyed the prospect to the best of their capacity.
