The ongoing ticket prices controversy in Andhra Pradesh is pulling back Telugu cinema. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda is a massive profit venture elsewhere but is still struggling to breakeven in some areas of Andhra Pradesh.
Biggies like RRR, Radhe Shyam, and Bheemla Nayak are coming up and the producers are Tensed with huge money riding on them. For a question about this, RRR Producer DVV Danayya told them they are in consultation with the government and hope for a resolution soon.
Quoting a news report about this statement of DVV Danayya, Janasena Senior Leader, Bolisetty Satyanarayana made an interesting comment. “Telugu cinema has become global only because there is no government interference. Government can sell 50 Rupees Liquor bottle for 500. Why should costly movie tickets be cheap?, he questioned.
“This is an attempt to pull back Telugu cinema. There is a chance there is a conspiracy of Hollywood Biggies. Who knows? There is a chance,” Bolisetty Satyanarayana added. The comment is going viral on social media.
