Jagan Cases Reference in Chidambaram Caseelugu Desam Party may have nothing to do with former Finance Minister, P Chidambaram’s ongoing case but it has got a delight unexpectedly. A reference to Jaganmohan Reddy’s case by Judge Sunil Gaur while canceling the anticipatory bail to P Chidambaram this week brought the much-needed cheer and also the ammunition to the party to counter the ruling party.

During Jagan‘s case, the Apex had observed that “Economic offenses constitute a class part and need to be visited with a different approach in matters of bail. The economic offenses having been deep-rooted conspiracies and involving a huge loss of public funds need to be viewed seriously and considered as grave offenses affecting the economy of the country as a whole and thereby posing a serious threat to the financial health of the country.”

Referring to that observation, Judge Sunil Gaur canceled the anticipatory bail to P Chidambaram. Back then, Jagan Mohan Reddy spent 16 months in Jail and subsequently released on bail in September 2013. TDP is ridiculing YSR Congress for being a model and reference to all the economic offense cases in the country.

YSR Congress is taken back by this unexpected happening.
