Reports are emerging that a few minority-dominated seats in Andhra Pradesh are drifting towards TDP due to hints about Jagan moving towards BJP. The Minority voting which is 90-10 in favor of YSR Congress in 2014 elections is now 40-60 and this drift is likely to change the dynamics in such segments.
With alarms from their survey teams, Jagan sought the help of MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi to woo the Minority Voters. Owaisi already pledged his support for Jagan but did not campaign in Andhra Pradesh as it may come as an advantage to Chandrababu Naidu who is using the anti-KCR plank.
So now, Owaisi is giving interviews in News Channels urging AP Muslims to vote for Jagan who will help the minorities just like his father. Owaisi is also reminding them that Chandrababu Naidu allied with BJP twice while YSR was an anti-BJP all his life. It has to be seen if Owaisi will be able to change things in Jagan’s favor?
