ys -jaganAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in Maritime India Summit 2021 virtually. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the summit. The Government of India expects an investment of Rs 3.39 lakh crore after this summit and AP CM Jagan also made a pitch for Andhra Pradesh.

“AP has the second biggest coastline in the country. We are the first in the country in 2020 in ease of doing business. Four percent of total exports from India are from AP. We are planning to make that 10% by 2030. Greenfield ports are being readied in Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam, and Bhavanapadu. They will begin commercial operations by 2023.,” the Chief Minister said.

It is interesting to note the Chief Minister mentioned Ease of Doing Business. Jagan used to ridicule the same while he is in opposition. The first rank in 2020 he mentioned is the EoDB ranking for the year 2018-19. That means the First Rank is achieved during Chandrababu’s rule.

YSR Congress tried to portray it as their achievement but the Central Government already clarified it in various RTI applications. So, it has become like Jagan is boasting about Chandrababu’s achievement.
