The hearing on the petition filed by MP Raghuram Krishna Raju seeking revocation of AP CM Jagan’s bail has been adjourned once again. The CBI sought more time to hear the written arguments. The CBI court adjourned the case till July 30th.
The lawyers for Raghurama Krishna Raju and Jagan have already submitted their arguments in writing to the court. The CBI had earlier asked the court to take a decision on the matter as per the law at its discretion.
However, the CBI asked the court on the 14th of this month to give them ten days to file their written arguments. The CBI court agreed and adjourned till today. The hearing was adjourned today as the CBI again sought time.
The court earlier expressed its displeasure in the delay in the previous hearing. The judge even said he will decide upon the case irrespective of the fact that CBI will submit its arguments or not. But then, the CBI has informed the court that they could not submit the arguments due to the ill-health of their Public Prosecutor.
