Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has shifted his focus onto drought and waged a literal war on it. Naidu deployed Rain Guns in Anantapur district and saved crops which are being dried due to severe drought. As Naidu and his team were fighting on ground zero, the rain gods also helped the farmers to some extent.
However, the main opposition party, YSR Congress is baffled with Naidu’s stride into Rayalaseema. Jagan considers Rayalaseema as his forte and is suffocated as Naidu has got a good name in this issue. Jagan came up with a cheap retort that Naidu is posing as if Rain Guns are his own invention while they exist from the last decade.
He even termed the government’s attempt as Event Management. But then his father, YSR or the other Congress government never did make an attempt to save the crops like how Naidu did. Jagan has deployed at a team of his men to belittle this issue hoping that the issue will be diluted and people would not see that as an achievement.
