Jagan Chiranjeevi BalakrishnaFor some odd reason, the Andhra Pradesh government is finding one way or the other to trouble the Telugu film industry. There’s the unruly oppression on Pawan Kalyan’s films. And then there’s the low ticket prices issue.

Now, the AP government has come back to irk the film industry, albeit selectively. Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya are the recipients of the same.

Incidentally, the AP government has reportedly rejected permission for the pre release event of Veera Simha Reddy that was planned to be held at Ongole. It is heard that the event could possibly be shifted to Warangal, Telangana after the setback in AP.

There are also reports that the Waltair Veerayya event which is being planned to be held at RK Beach Vizag is also facing trouble in acquiring the permission from the government.

“Government MAY give Permission if the unit finds a suitable alternative venue in Vizag” a report read. But there’re a lot of ifs and buts associated with it.

This reportedly comes just a day after Mythri Movie Makers met with the AP government regarding acquiring permissions for extra shows and prices hike. Little did they known they’d be facing such a hostile situation in AP.
