YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is doing his Padayatra in Vizianagaram District reached Vishakapatnam Airport a little while ago to fly to Hyderabad for attending the CBI Court Proceedings tomorrow in Nampally, Hyderabad. A person approached him asking to have a Selfie with the Opposition Leader to which Jagan agreed.
But then, he suddenly pulled out a Small Knife from his pocket and pierced it into Jagan‘s hand. Jagan was waiting at the VIP Lounge in the Airport when this happened. The accused is said to be a waiter named J Srinivas hailing from Amalapuram. Jagan’s Security pounced on him and overpowered him.
He was handed over to the Police. The motive behind this attack is not known and the Police are interrogating the man. Jagan’s supporters who were initially panicked breathed in easy after knowing that it is a minor injury. They are alleging Political Conspiracy behind this attack and are demanding that the Government should explain how this happened to a VIP and that too in an airport.
