All decks are cleared for 100% occupancy in film theaters across both the Telugu States. Andhra Pradesh Government had already released the necessary G.O. but added it will be considered case to case for each district with the decision power vested with the district collectors.
Meanwhile, Telangana Government also issued the G.O. The State Government gave a straight-forward G.O. with no-frills permission to screen films with 100% occupancy. The first beneficiary of this will be Vaishnav Tej’s Uppena which will release on the 12th of this month.
Film Business has suffered for a long time as it is the only business which had to do curtailed business even after all the business were back to normal. The Governments had to allow 100% occupancy after the Coronavirus cases were largely controlled for the last few months.
It has to be seen if the remaining film industries will also be making a V-shaped recovery just like how the Telugu film industry did!
