Jagan TDPThe monsoon session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is likely to begin later this month. The session is happening at a time when the Ruling Party is under severe pressure due to various issues mounting the anti-incumbency all of a sudden in the last few months.

Ahead of the session, the Privilege Committee which mostly consists of the Ruling party leaders has recommended to the Speaker that Deputy leaders of the Opposition – Atchennaidu and Rama Naidu should not be given mike for the entire session for abusing the Chief Minister

TDP’s member in the Privilege Committee – Anagani Satyaprasad opposed this decision and clarified that Rama Naidu retaliated only after he was called Drama Naidu. He demanded that the assembly records should be verified to see if it is true or not.

Atchennaidu and Rama Naidu are two vocal leaders of the Telugu Desam Party. The Ruling Party has struggled to face them in the house in the previous sessions. “Jagan is afraid of facing TDP is the assembly. This is the proof. This seems to be an attempt to stifle the Opposition’s voice,” TDP alleges.
