Tamil Politics are in ‘wait and see’ mode post the demise of Jayalalithaa. Loyalist, O Paneer Selvam is back at the helm but everyone in the state is very sure that it is a short-lived stint for Paneer Selvam and Sasikala will aim for the CM Chair anytime soon or later.
But then, Sasikala will have a stiff competition from Jayalalithaa’s niece, Deepa Jayakumar. Deepa is all set to star her political career from 17th of this month which is the birth anniversary of AIADMK ideologue, MGR.
On the other side to counter her, Sasikala is also contemplating to undertake Political tours across the state. It is also emerging that Deepa is going to contest against Sasikala if she puts herself in the fray for RK Nagar byelection (Jayalalithaa’s seat).
