Janasena President Pawan Kalyan‘s Tirupati Tour was a massive success. It is a success considering the massive crowds it has drawn and if or not it is a real success can be gauged only after the Tirupati by-election result.
On the other side, one sentence of Pawan Kalyan’s speech, in particular, has become viral on social media. Pawan Kalyan said 151 MLAs and 22 MPs could not question the injustice happening to Andhra Pradesh and what can another MP winning from YSR Congress do, he asked.
It is evident that Pawan Kalyan is referring to the injustice happening to Andhra Pradesh due to the BJP-led Union Government. YSR Congress not questioning that is a different topic by why is Pawan Kalyan endorsing someone from the same party is the question being asked.
Many are drawing conclusions from this speech that Pawan Kalyan is with BJP in person but his heart is not there with the saffron party. They are asking him to sever ties with the BJP and work for what is good for the state. But then, there is a section of some Janasena supporters finding wrong with this argument.
“Pawan Kalyan may have erred in the speech. But it is the people who are wrong here. Pawan is the only one who earnestly fought against the injustice to Andhra Pradesh before 2019 elections. With the election result, people have told that Special Status or any such topic is not of their interest. Politicians naturally have to change their political strategy according to the people’s mood even though he thinks otherwise,” they say.
