Five people were burnt alive when a high tension wire fell on an auto in Tadimarri of Sri Satya Sai district earlier today.
APSPDCL CMD Harinath Reddy announced that it has happened due to a squirrel and there is no lapse on the part of the department. Former Minister Lokesh made critical comments on this issue.
“Wonders like Chariot burning due to bees, rats drinking liquor, thieves running into court due to dogs and taking evidence in Kakani’s case, high tension wires getting snapped due to squirrel happens only in Jagan Nataka Reddy’s rule,” Lokesh criticized.
“You should have claimed the accident occurred due to supplying legit power without power cuts,” Lokesh mocked.
Lokesh criticized that the government was in the habit of telling lies to the authorities without even holding a minimum inquiry when five poor people were burnt alive.
He demanded 25 Lakh Rupees compensation for each victim.
TDP leaders along with the farmers and the families of the deceased in Tadimarri protested for justice for the affected families.
They alleged that the accident happened due to the negligence of the electricity authorities.
