Is-This-Jagan-Strategy-in-Not-Taking-TDP-MLAsAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in his maiden Assembly speech criticized Chandrababu Naidu on the defections in the previous Assembly. Jagan vowed that he will not take any of the Opposition MLAs without getting them resigned. He asked the Speaker to disqualify if any such incidents take place.

This will come as a huge relief for TDP because the MLAs are not ready to resign and go for by-elections. The winning is not guaranteed then and it will also involve huge expenditure. So, the defections will not happen in the near future and this will give time for TDP to regroup and redeem itself.

Political Experts see this as a strategy by Jagan. “It is clear that Jagan does not want to finish off TDP and allow BJP to take the Place. It will be difficult to face BJP with a Power Central Government on its side. So, Jagan would prefer a weakened Telugu Desam as Opposition,” the Political Experts say on this.

“At the same time, TDP will be harassed with cases by Jagan Government as well as the Modi Government and ensure that the natural death happens,” they add. But then, if Chandrababu Naidu could redeem it like the way how he did in the past, it will be trouble once again for Jagan.
