YS Jagan - Chandrababu-NaiduFormer IAS Officer, PV Ramesh worked in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office. He was the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and played a crucial role in Andhra Pradesh’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis. Ramesh was handling medical and health and education departments.

A reallocation of subjects in the CMO in July left Dr. Ramesh with no specific portfolio. He had since maintained a low profile and subsequently tendered his resignation. Ramesh did not make any public comments about what went wrong between the Chief Minister and him.

For the first time, the former bureaucrat had a message for the Chief Minister and the former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. “As we step into 2021, I wish good health & happiness to all citizens of #AndhraPradesh. I plead with all to join hands for sustainable development of the State. My special request to @ysjagan & @ncbn to forget & forgive differences & work for good of the state (sic), he tweeted.

Having worked with the Chief Minister for around an year, Dr. Ramesh should have known how Jagan sees Chandrababu Naidu as an enemy and it is impossible for the Chief Minister to work with him, many say.
