Rahul Gandhi - Chandrababu Naidu--TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s meeting the other day has created a Political Stir. Naidu announcing the working with Congress to dethrone Rahul Gandhi led to a big discussion in the political circles. Opposition in Andhra Pradesh started criticizing Naidu for Breaking the Founding Principle of TDP.

Leaders who are known NTR haters all their lives are suddenly worrying about how NTR is feeling in his grave. Some of the Senior Leaders in Congress who worked against TDP for ages have started resigning. Chandrababu Naidu in a meeting with the party leaders went on to say that the alliance will also be confined to the National Level and there will be no seat sharing in the state.

But then, it has to be seen if this statement of Chandrababu Naidu is only to pacify the dissent for now. Only a few months ago, Chandrababu was saying there will be no alliance with Congress and later said the alliance will be confined only to Telangana. All of them have changed now and so, it has to be seen if he is saying the truth about seat sharing in AP.

Interestingly, after the meeting with Chandrababu Naidu, Rahul Gandhi’s Tweet on the occasion gives a curious case. “I had a good meeting today with Shri Chandrababu Naidu. Amongst other things, we discussed the issue of opposition unity. I look forward to carrying forward our dialogue and to working together in the upcoming state & general elections,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
