The other day, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu sat with TDP (TS) leaders in his Lake View Guest House and discussed the party’s prospects in Telangana State. Chandrababu informed the leaders that Governor Post for Senior Leader Mothukupalli Narasimhulu is more or less confirmed.
Chandrababu Naidu went on to say it is Telugu Desam Party which is committed to the upliftment of the backward classes. Currently, there is a vacancy in Tamil Nadu Governor Post and currently, the state has an in charge Governor. If Mothukupalli will be sent to Tamil Nadu, it is likely to happen very soon.
Opposition Parties look this as a big opportunity to corner the government. They will allege that Chandrababu traded Special Status for this Governor Post even though BJP promised this a long ago and it is finally happening. If Naidu decides to postpone it for some time, Mothukupalli may miss Tamil Nadu and may get some North East state which will also come with some wait time.
