Investors Planning Exit from TV9?At least four media groups which are Financial investors in TV9 are looking for an exit this year and have roped in multi-national consultants to make a bid for the stake. Sources say that the deal could be closed in a month or two, depending on the size of the offer.

The investors looking for exit have 80 percent stake in the Associated Broadcasting Company that owns TV9, Raviprakash, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and his team holds the remaining 20 percent. But then, Raviprakash continues to refute those reports.

On the other side, TV9 which runs channels in Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, and Gujarati, is also planning to expand its reach in the Tamil language as well. Financial investors of TV9 have made unsuccessful exit attempts earlier but they say this time around they will go ahead with the plan.
