Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the CBI Court a little while ago. CBI on the other side filed a counter on Jagan’s petition to give exemption from physical appearance in the court to ensure he takes up his Padayatra.
CBI in its counter told the court that Jagan is trying to intentionally delay the court proceedings. It also brought to the notice of the court that Jagan attends the court only once a week and questioned the legitimacy of asking exemption for even that one day.
Jagan will be undertaking a 3600 Kilometers Padayatra from November 2nd. Every Friday court attendance will mean that the walkathon is interrupted every week and will lose its sheen. So, Jagan is keen on having an exemption.
