Never in the history of constructing a capital city has one heard about making the capital city truly a people’s capital. People are motivated to donate bricks for the construction fo their capital which beholds the future dreams. AP chief Minister Naidu’s ‘Amaravati e-brick’ programme is one such novel thought.
Here people will be contributing Rs.10 per each brick on their name and the payment will be through online. here there will be no chance of any kind of cheating as an electronic database of the contributors will be maintained and the payments will be made only through online services.
The programme won instant appreciation and the contributions started flowing in. When this writer started this article, the number of contributors was 453 and within 4 minutes, the count went on to 511 contributors.
