The allegations of the YSR Congress about Insider Trading in Amaravati lands seem to be turning out to be a damp squib. Jagan Mohan Reddy after assuming office formed a Cabinet Sub-Committee to look into the issue. Officials belonging to Vigilance and Enforcement, CID, and CRDA were deployed to look into the irregularities.
But they were shocked as they get to the bottom of the case. In the five rule of Chandrababu Naidu, only 1170 acres of land transactions have happened. Only 170 of them have happened between Chandrababu coming to Power and before declaring Amaravati as the Capital. That means only this 170 acres fall under the possible Insider Trading.
Among this 170 acres, there will be certainly some fair transactions even if we assume Insider Trading happened. In such a case, the Insider Trading will be confined to less than 100 acres which is almost like it did not happen. If Insider Trading really happened, it would have happened on a large scale.
So, calling it a scam and holding Amaravati as Ransom for it is unpardonable. YSR Congress is now in power, it can not simply make allegations and go away. It has to establish and showcase it to the World. So, we are told that the State Government is very nervous.
