The government of India is promoting various Corona awareness initiatives which say We should fight the disease and not the affected (మనం పోరాడాల్సింది వ్యాధితో గానీ రోగితో కాదు). The basic idea of that is to show compassion for those who are infected by Coronavirus. The stigma which is there in the society towards the patients decreased considerably in recent times.
But then, things have changed drastically ever since YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP, Vijaya Sai Reddy was declared Corona Positive last night. People have been mocking him for the infection but that is not happening without any reason. Some of the tweets Vijayasai Reddy posted in the last few months are outright insensitive.
He almost posted half a dozen tweets which seemed like he wished Chandrababu Naidu to get Corona Positive. In one of the tweets, he went on to say a Private Hospital in Hyderabad has readied a Ventilator Bed for Chandrababu. He also called some senior leaders of TDP as Corona Ratnas.
And he also posted few tweets ridiculing Chandrababu for staying in Hyderabad during the Lockdown. He mocked Achannaidu for asking the court treatment in a Corporate hospital saying that even Government Hospitals in Jagan’s rules were World-class.
Vijayasai Reddy is in Vijayawada when the Corona Positive Report arrived and he rushed to Hyderabad and got admitted to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Forget Government Hospitals in Andhra Pradesh, the MP did not even trust the private hospitals in his own state.
No Wonder they say ‘నోరు మంచిదైతే ఊరు మంచిదవుతుంది’. “Karma is a Bi*ch, they say. Vijayasai Reddy is a Prime Example of that,” TDP folks on Twitter ridicule.
కరోనా మనతోటే ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి 65 ఏళ్లు దాటినోళ్లు బయటకు రావద్దని కేసీఆర్ గారు కూడా చెప్పారు. జాగ్రత్త బాబూ! నీకు 71 ఏళ్లు అని వైరస్ ఇట్టే పసిగడ్తుంది. 40 ఇయర్స్ ఇండస్ట్రీ, 14 సంవత్సరాలు సీఎం, ప్రతిపక్ష నేతగా పదకొండేళ్లు లాంటివి కరోనాకు అర్థం కావు.

వయస్సు పైబడింది కదా. కరోనా భయంతో నిద్ర కూడా పోవడం లేదంట. ఆయన కోసం దగ్గర్లోని ఓ ఆసుపత్రి యాజమాన్యం వెంటిలేటర్ కూడా సిద్ధంగా పెట్టిందని సమాచారం. కంగారు పడొద్దు. ఏ పౌరుడికి ఆపద వచ్చినా సీఎం జగన్ గారు ఆదుకుంటారు. కాకపోతే వరసగా రెండో ఏడాదీ మహానాడు జరపలేక పోవడమే పెద్ద విషాదం.
