Janasena President Pawan Kalyan addressed a rally at Kondareddy Buruju, Kurnool the other day. Pawan Kalyan spoke at length about the historical significance of the fort and also said how rulers have neglected it. He went on to say it would have been a famous historic spot if not neglected.
But then, the 12th-century monument was vandalized by fans as one thousand people barged into the Konda Reddy Fort, scaling the walls and barricades, brandishing Jana Sena flags. Some 200 flower pots were crushed, steel railings twisted, staircases and benches damaged causing a loss of an estimated Rs 1 lakh.
Lawns and lights were destroyed. A case was registered at the Local Police Station. The Archaeological Survey of India said the monument was in a very weak state and could cave in if subjected to such rough use. Pawan Kalyan who lectured about the fort could not control the fans. It looks like the indiscipline of fans has become a curse for Pawan Kalyan.Follow Mirchi9 on Google NewsThis Week Releases on OTT – Check ‘Rating’ Filter
