India's Most Loved Politician, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Passed AwayFormer Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for over 2 months has finally passed away. The 93-year-old leader has been suffering from urinary tract infection, lower respiratory tract infection and kidney problems.

The 93-year-old BJP leader is the oldest living former Indian prime minister. He suffered a stroke in 2009 that impaired his speech. He is also suffering from diabetes and dementia. Since then he is staying indoors and is political inactive.

He was awarded Bharat Ratna in 2014. The President of India conferred Bharat Ratna to him at his residence breaking the protocol on 27 March 2015. The Bharat Ratna awardee breathed his last at 02:47 PM, the official announcement said.
