Siddharth RupaparaIndian student at Conestoga College Kitchener was on his way back home when was hit by a minivan while crossing the road at Manitou Drive and Bleams Road around 5 PM. Due to life-threatening injuries, Siddharth Rupapara died in the hospital.

Siddharth was airlifted to the hospital, but he could not survive. A 42-year-old Kitchener was responsible for the accident, though she was not injured. The roads in the area were closed for several hours for the investigation.

Siddharth is survived by his mother and father, who met him only last year. Now, his cousin Raj Ruparara has raised a fundraiser (Click Here to Donate) to help cover the funeral cost and to shift Siddharth’s body to India. The fundraiser says that the money would be of great help to flow back Siddharth’s body and be of financial aid for his bereaved family.
