Indian Army, Indian Army Pakistan Surgical Strike, Indian Army PAK Surgical Strike, Indian Army LOC Surgical Strike, Indian Army Pakistan LOC Surgical StrikeDirector General Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Ranbir Singh addressed a joint press conference with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Vikas Swarup in New Delhi a little while ago. The Army DGMO confirmed that Indian Army conducted surgical strikes last night on terror launch pads crossing the Line of Control (LoC).

The DGMO confirmed that heavy damages have been caused to terrorists, many of them have been killed. He also elaborated that India shared the details of the surgical strikes with Pakistan Army and expects them to cooperate in the fight against terror. Ranbir Singh also told the media that Indian armed forces ready for any contingency but confirms that there are no plans as of now for further operations.

On the other side, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says the strikes are aimed at Pakistan Army and not the Terrorists. “We condemn this attack, our desire for peace should not be interpreted as our weakness. We are ready for the safety and defence of our country,” he said. Sharif also reiterated that Pakistan has no role in the recent Uri Attacks.
