In the wake of the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, Modi government had put Weapon Suppliers on alert to make sure they are able to supply the weapons even on short notice. The government asked them to increase their production if necessary so as to meet any additional requirement that may arise.
We are told the Defense Ministry had written to major weapon suppliers about this. Small Weapons, Ammunition, Weapons and Spare parts for Sukhoi and Mirage War Planes are on the priority list. The Indian government is making all the necessary arrangement to deal with any retaliation from Pakistan side.
We know that India has conducted surgical strikes on some Terror Launch Pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) last month and is suspecting a possible retaliation from Pakistan. On the other side, there are intelligence reports of possible Terror attacks in major metro cities of the country on the occasion of Durga Puja. Indian Parliament is also on their hit list.
