India and US comes to compromise on Devyani
The diplomatic differences between two World’s biggest democracies flared up since the last few weeks after US arrested Indian diplomat, Devyani Khorbhagade over Visa fraud charges. India did not take the matter lightly and retreated imposing some sanctions on US diplomats in its country. On the other side, US is also adamant on its stance for weeks but finally both the countries came to a mutual compromise in the issue.

According to it, US will not drop charges on Devyani but will allow her to fly to India as she enjoys diplomatic immunity. She will not be issued any order to fly off nor any deadline to leave the country. However, Devyani will be prosecuted if she ever returns to US with out immunity. However a personal crisis awaits Devyani as she is married to a New York-born Indian-American who is a US citizen and has two school-going children. With this tricky situation, it will be difficult to keep the family together.
