Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to celebrate the Independence Day Eve in Tirupati this year. Post the State Bifurcation, the government is having the celebrations at different places every year. The government is in the process of identifying a venue.
Once it is finalized, Security Personnel will take over the venue early next month and will take up necessary security measures. The government is also planning to appoint a committee to over see all the arrangements of this event.
Anantapur has hosted the celebrations last time. It was the first time the celebrations were held in Rayalaseema back then. It has to be seen if Governor ESL Narasimhan will be receiving the honorary salute or AP will get a new Governor before that.
