Calling it a matter of public importance, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government has filed a Lunch Motion Petition before Division Bench of High Court against Single Judge Bench verdict of striking down Ticket Rates G.O. Usually, Lunch Motion Petitions are filed for matters of urgent public importance.

Like in the issues where no immediate intervention of the court can do a lot of damage. The High Court division bench has heard the case but has adjourned it as the physical copy of the previous verdict is not available. The Government has deployed the Advocate General to argue the case.

Usually, the Advocate General appears for matters of high importance only. The AG asked the court to immediately take up the hearing because tickets can be sold indiscriminately using the Single Judge’s order. The court agreed to hear the first case tomorrow morning. The urgency with which the government is showing, in this case, has amazed everyone.

“All this is to take revenge on one person (Pawan Kalyan) and it has panned out into a vendetta against an industry. This Government has become so power-blind and arrogant that it is insulting itself before the people going after an issue which is not even a necessity for the people,” people are criticizing unanimously.

“The state is prospering. The roads are resembling that of roads in the United State. The treasury is full up to the brim. Employees are not on the streets. There are no floods anywhere. There are no issues like OTS etc. Ticket Rates is the only issue and problem, Danger, et al in AP,” they mock.
