TDPThe Karnataka Elections campaign is going on at full pitch. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing all the heavy lifting for BJP. Congress is definitely missing a star campaigner but is banking on the severe anti-incumbency of the current BJP government.

But Congress is doing one thing right about the Karnataka campaign. The party had designed a robust campaign – ‘40% Sarkara’ against the BJP. There is a notion that the BJP government is the most corrupt demanding a 40% cut in all projects.

There was a massive publicity campaign in the name of 40% Sarkara which is well-designed and aggressively done. The material also reached to the masses. Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh needs something of that sort against the YSR Congress.

The party is effectively cornering the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government on many issues. But it needs one proper slogan which will be the central theme of their campaign. That will hit the opposition right where it hurts and garners the attention of the masses.

Meanwhile, in Karnataka, not even a single survey is giving BJP an edge. But then, the BJP is not in a mood to give up. If the Saffron party is able to pull off a decent number of seats. It will attempt to bully its way to power using JDS and Operation Akarsha on the Congress party.
