High_Court_of_Andhra_Pradesh_Rajini_Vidadala_YS_Avinash_ReddyThe YCP top brass is being served one jolt after another. Recently, it was the defeat in the graduates’ MLC elections. And now, YCP’s key leaders, minister Vidadala Rajini, MP Avinash Reddy, and his relative Prathap Reddy, Swetha Reddy and others were served court notices in connection with illegal mining.

Going into the story, the natives of Murikipudi village, Chilakalurupeta, filed a case in the High Court against the government for issuing NOCs for granite mining in the area without consulting or seeking the opinion of the locals. They added that these lands were assigned to SC, ST communities.

The court commenced hearings on the same and today, the court issued a status quo order on the illegal granite mining in the 21-acre land that is being objected by the locals.

The court sent notices to the NOC issuing Tahsildar, and also YCP leaders Vidadala Rajini, Avinash Reddy and others who are allegedly involved with the illegal mining.
