Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Admi Party created a big storm in National Politics. The party could not keep up the ante going after they created history by rising to power in Delhi. But still they are able to have substantial impact on National politics but for some reason the party could not make its presence felt in Andhra Pradesh. The party after making some buzz with membership drives slowed down significantly here. And as the elections are nearing the party is slowly making progress. They are busy in identifying contestants in AP.
It is said that they wanted to field an IIT graduate and social worker Kiran Kumar Vissa against YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. His candidature is more or less confirmed the party says. “I am up to demolish corruption in politics. I am ready to contest against any one in the state”, says a confident Kiran Kumar.
Kiran is an active NRI member of AID India since ‘90s. Having worked as an engineer, mobile telecommunications, with Hughes Communications, U.S., he returned to work with Arvind Kejriwal. He is also an active member of a group of NRIs who formed the initial rule book prepared by Kejriwal in the US around 2005-06.
