Telangana Congress Mulugu MLA Seethakka took to Twitter and posted a scary video. The video shows the MLA’s mother fighting for life in hospital. Malkajgiri police stop her family member from coming to donate blood with permission. They try to reason with the police by making a video call to the MLA.
Seethakka shows her mother who is in ICU on the video call but Malkajgiri DCP Rakshitha K Murthy does not even want to speak to her and even went to the extent of speaking harshly. “If this is the case with an MLA, just imagine the plight of the common man,” Seethakka says.
Furthermore, the police even raise a challan of 1000 Rupees for disobedience of orders in Lockdown. She posted the video and her anguish tagging the Telangana DGP. The video and the tweet are going viral on social media and people are angry with police for not showing empathy even though the MLA is trying to show her mother in ICU.
Meanwhile, Seethakka is one MLA who has done some exemplary service in the remote tribal areas of her constituency by helping them with groceries during the COVID first and second waves.
