Andhra Pradesh government is planning an Iconic Bridge on Krishna River. The bridge will be constructed between Soorayyapalem and Mangalagiri and will cost 900 Crore. The state government had sent the proposals to the Union government regarding this.
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will be coming to AP on 5th of this month. The Chief Minister and the state government officials will be briefing him regarding this 900 Crore iconic bridge and 16200 Crore Ring Road proposed around Vijayawada and Guntur.
The eight lane Ring Road will need 7784 acres of land and will improve connectivity to Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkara. The farmers who give their lands to this Ring Road will be given plots in the capital.
