IAS Babus Reluctant to work for Andhra Pradesh!Several Senior IAS Officers are not at all interested in working for Andhra Pradesh Government and are trying to get deputation to the Central Services. The main reason for the reluctance is the need to shift to Amaravati leaving their families behind in Hyderabad.

Babus complain that the studies of their children are being affected due to this shift. They also say that getting Central services will increase their influence and also will have flexible work hours. Babus openly say that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is touch to be satisfied and it is taking a toll on them.

Due to this, there is a scarcity of Senior IAS officers in various departments of the State Government. This rush for Central services will make IAS officers further scarce in the state which already is suffering from a lower allocation of IAS officers post the bifurcation.
